01Project experience · Flooring · Calgary

Local SEO for a Calgary Flooring Business

The marketing challenge

A flooring business needs to be discoverable for more than one broad category. Customers may be comparing carpet, hardwood, vinyl, laminate or tile, while also looking for a nearby showroom, installation help or a quote. The project challenge was to make those paths clearer without losing the usefulness of existing pages or making unsupported claims about performance.

What Core109 worked on

Core109 reviewed the website's service and product structure, then improved content around carpet, hardwood, vinyl, laminate and tile. Work included titles, headings, meta descriptions, internal links and useful service or location content that reflected the business's actual offer. The project connected relevant service pages to quote-request opportunities and reviewed mobile presentation and crawlability.

How the website structure was improved

Each important page received a clearer purpose and a more direct relationship to related services. Product and service explanations were connected with contextual links, while Calgary and surrounding-area relevance was strengthened only where it accurately described the business. Conversion-focused website improvements helped keep calls to action and quote paths understandable on smaller screens.

The work also protected existing rankings by documenting page focus before expanding coverage. New content supported the core service journey rather than replacing established URLs or creating near-duplicate pages.

What should be measured

A responsible review can include search impressions, service-keyword visibility, organic landing-page visits, quote requests, phone calls and the quality of resulting enquiries. These indicators should be interpreted together and compared with the business's own objectives. Our guide to how Calgary service businesses can generate better leads covers the same measurement principle in more detail. 02Project experience · Flooring retail · Alberta

SEO Structure for an Established Alberta Flooring Retailer

The marketing challenge

An established flooring retailer can have a deep catalogue and many useful pages, but product-category searches, showroom visits and installation enquiries do not all represent the same intent. The project focused on organizing that information so a visitor could move from product research to a relevant local or commercial conversation without exposing the retailer's identity.

What Core109 worked on

Core109 reviewed product-category pages and improved the structure of vinyl, hardwood, laminate, carpet and tile content. Where applicable, commercial-flooring information was strengthened separately from residential product guidance. Page titles, H1 headings, supporting headings, metadata and contextual internal links were improved so each page answered a defined customer question.

Different search intents need different paths

Product-category intent usually begins with comparing a material or finish. Local showroom intent is closer to visiting, seeing samples or speaking with a specialist. Installation enquiries focus on fitting, project scope and next steps. Commercial enquiries can involve a different buying process, while location-based searches depend on accurate service-area and business information. A useful site structure acknowledges these differences instead of sending every search to one generic page.

The project included useful community or service-area content without naming a city that could make the retailer identifiable. Important pages were checked for sitemap inclusion, indexability, self-referencing canonicals and mobile usability. Website design changes and Google Business Profile information were kept focused on navigation, page clarity and the route to an enquiry.

What should be measured

Useful review points include visibility for product categories, organic visits to commercial and local pages, showroom or installation enquiries, calls, quote requests and the quality of conversations. Search visibility is a supporting indicator; it is not a promise of traffic, rankings or revenue. The retailer's confidential data is intentionally not published.

03Project experience · Home services · Calgary

Search-Intent SEO for a Calgary Home-Service Company

The marketing challenge

Home-service searches often combine a specific problem with a need for local availability. Repair, installation and general service intent can look similar at a glance but require different information, expectations and calls to action. The project focused on making those distinctions clear without adding unsupported emergency-service claims or implying availability the company had not confirmed.

What Core109 worked on

Core109 separated repair, installation and service intent, improved service-page relevance and developed useful service-related content. Metadata, headings and internal links were refined around high-intent local searches, with accurate service-area language maintained throughout. The work supported the company's lead-generation system and reviewed how paid search and organic pages should connect.

How the enquiry path was improved

Service pages were checked for clear phone and quote-request paths, especially on mobile. The project reviewed whether visitors could identify the service area, understand the next step and reach the business without unnecessary friction. Focused web-design improvements were considered where messaging, contact paths or mobile presentation needed attention; a complete redesign was not assumed.

Calls and enquiries should be reviewed for service fit and follow-up status. The business should be able to distinguish a relevant request from an unrelated search, without relying on a traffic total or making an unsupported performance claim.

What should be measured

Appropriate measures can include repair or installation calls, quote and estimate requests, organic landing-page visits, search impressions, service-keyword visibility, lead source and enquiry quality. Campaign management and follow-up determine how useful those signals become, so reporting should stay connected to the real customer conversation.

04Project experience · Denture clinics · Advertising

Patient-Enquiry Marketing for Denture Clinics

The marketing challenge

Denture clinics may need to explain several treatment paths while making an appointment enquiry feel simple and respectful. Repairs, relines, partial dentures, complete dentures and consultations can have different questions and levels of urgency. The project experience focused on organizing information and advertising around those genuine treatment services without publishing patient information or identifying a clinic, city, owner or practitioner.

What Core109 worked on

Core109 organized Google Ads campaigns around treatment-specific advertising and reviewed how social advertising and educational content could support patient awareness. Lead forms and appointment-enquiry paths were checked for clarity on mobile, with messaging aligned to the treatment information the clinic could accurately provide.

Where Canadian Dental Care Plan language was relevant, wording was kept careful and informational. The project avoided guaranteed eligibility, free-treatment or coverage claims. No patient data, medical histories or treatment outcomes are included in this overview.

How the appointment path was improved

Treatment-related pages and advertisements were connected to clear calls, forms and consultation options. Website design review considered the way a person finds a phone number, understands the service and requests an appointment from a mobile device. Campaigns were kept distinct from the clinic's broader local presence and did not rely on a guaranteed patient-lead volume.

What should be measured

A clinic can review treatment-related calls, completed forms, appointment requests, lead source, enquiry fit and follow-up status. Advertising and social metrics can help diagnose delivery, but they should not be presented as patient outcomes. Confidential project data and any patient information remain private.
